Haiti catastrophe...

Hey guys, I just finished playing the game 'Inside The Haiti Earthquake' and that is one of the most realistic experience I have ever felt. Seriously, the pictures, the dialogs, the recordings, it seems like you are actually in the game, feeling the adventure. I chose the journalist as my character and when I play that game, I felt like a real one. We won't feel it in Malaysia because we are outside of the Earthquake danger zone,  but still when we play that game, it felt real. You can play it here : www.insidedisaster.com/

I would use this as a guide for writing because I can use it to ask the students to create a paragraph of what would you do if you are one of the journalists in that game. I want them to experience it, and evaluate on what the earthquake had caused, what are the effects of the earthquake and how can you appreciate life when you are in a peaceful country.

Thinking Skills - Evaluating.

Hey guys, Miss Yoon asked us to design a task using 1 from the 4 higher order thinking skills from the revised Bloom's taxonomy. I decided to use analyzing because analyzing is the first step before we can develop critical thinking skill.
